◄Cushioned Magnetic Pads -
From top left, clockwise: both sides of a 3⅜ inch square pad,
containing five ceramic magnets (3,950 Gauss each); one side
of a 4½" x 6½"
pad, containing 15 ceramic magnets (3,950 Gauss ea.); both sides of a 1½ inch
diameter pad, containing three neodymium magnets (11,000 Gauss
ea.). (Gauss is a unit of measure of magnetic
strength.) ►Front and back of a pair of Magnetic Insoles
(2,500 Gauss ea.), and a pair in its re-sealable
plastic packaging. On one side of each insole, there are
size guidelines for cutting the material to fit any shoe size
between a women's 8 & 13 (M 7 & 12),
inclusive. One trimmed insole is placed
inside each shoe, slipper, sneaker, etc., with the solid black
side against the foot. |
The following paragraph is from Magnet Therapy: The Pain Cure
Alternative, written by Ron Lawrence, M.D., PH..D., Judith
Plowden and Paul J. Rosch, M.D., F.A.C.P. (published by Prima
Health, a division of Prima Publishing, 1998):
"So, exactly how does it happen?
How can a magnetic field reduce pain? Dr. Lawrence believes
that perhaps the main actions are relaxation and circulation.
Magnetic fields appear to greatly increase blood flow in the tiny
capillaries. For example, via testing by plethysmography, a
way of measuring blood flow through the fingers, Dr. Lawrence found
a rate of 300% increase in five minutes-a dramatic change.
The speeded circulation is thought to be due to the relaxation of
capillary walls and important changes in the capillary beds, as
well as further relaxation of muscle and connective
tissue." Whatever the exact biological functioning in
response to exposure to outside magnetic fields, it appears
that permanent magnets (stationary magnets against the body)
and magnets in motion (massagers, for example) may
be very useful in combating many, varied health
deficiencies: |
Many Researchers in the Area of Magnetic Field Therapy
Believe Magnets Can Aid in the Treatment of a Whole Host of Health Problems,
Including: Chronic Pain, including Fibromyalgia • Stress • Arthritis •
Insomnia • Wounds • Headaches • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome •
Asthma & Allergies • Fatigue • Back & Spinal Disk Problems
• Diabetic Neuropathy • Many Diseases, including Heart Disease,
and, even some forms of Cancer |

Despite the
aforementioned beliefs, and a huge volume of anecdotal evidence and
a couple of recent studies suggesting that magnets have a positive
effect on various health problems, the FDA has not approved
the use of magnetic therapy products. Therefore, sellers of
magnetic products in the U.S. are not permitted to make any
health claims, including pain relief. In addition, there are
certain warnings attached to the use of magnetic
products. All of the magnetic
products described and/or pictured on this website
are not registered medical devices. They are
not offered for sale as, nor are they intended to be used as,
medicine or medical treatment. We make no representations or
warranties as to the ability of magnetic products to cure any
physical or mental conditions. The magnetic products on
this website are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent
disease. WARNINGS: Pregnant women should first check
with their physician before using any magnetic products. In
addition, the Moon Car Magnetic Massagers (described and pictured
on two other pages of this website) should not be used on the
ABDOMEN of pregnant women. Also, anyone with a pacemaker,
defibrillator or other electrical diffusion device, should first
check with her or his medical doctor before using any
magnetic product. |
